Just a couple more plain old bowls….... nothing special !

Turned from some branch wood, green, to 10%.... dried for a couple of months, and now finished turned. There was three bowls to start with, but now only have two small bowls and a funnel.

Small walnut bowls, 6” and 5” , by 2.75” tall.

There is nothing “plain old” about these bowls. They are very nicely done. FYI – Quite a few of my “bowls” became funnels – then firewood.

To be honest Brian that bowl with the two colors is very special. They are both very nicely done, But I especially like that two toned one. Keep up the great work.

Fantastic bowls. Nothing plain about them. Love the sap wood and coloring of both.

By “Funnel” do you mean you cut a little too deep? I thought it was supposed to be a thin bottom, not “see through” haha I have done that too. Thought about attempting a save by gluing to another piece of contrasting wood and calling it planned. Not sure of getting it centered though.

Keep up the great work.

-- Scrap Wood's the best...the projects are smaller, and so is the mess!
