This was made as a present for my sister-in-law. The runners are poplar: the uprights are redheart (with some mineral streaking) and the crosspieces and supports are canarywood. The supports are supposed to be M&T, but I ran out of time (seems like a common theme with my Christmas presents) so they are just glued on. The rest of the structure is half-lap joints. I like the combination of redheart and canarywood.

I like the design but too many colourĀ“s for my taste I think
