LAMBEAM Construction Foreman's Boot!

I was given two 30 inch pieces, cut-offs from a 6×6 laminate beam recently and paid homage to the construction foreman by carving a caricature of his work boots. They were thick, broad with a steel toe cap.
The wood was fairly easy to carve and the grain of each laminate popped when I put a French polish as a finish coat.
Better the wood in a boot than in a land fill or fire pit.
Enjoy!

That’s great, I love how the medium not only looks great, but fits the theme.
