This is a piece I carved from Black cottonwood bark.I put alot of whimsy into this piece.Measures approx. 23” x 4” x 3”. Used a deft finish.

This is nice. It took not only talent but a lot of imagination as well to “see” this and to free it from the wood.
This is really a gorgeous piece that I am sure you had fun doing.

First off Welcome to LJ’s glad your a member.
Looking at your Bark carving makes me want to get out there and finish mine up. I found myself stuck so I stopped working on it.
I like the finish and the detail you have accomplished in this carving. I look forward to seeing more of your work.
