My youngest son and his fiance moved back to Pa. first. They wanted to be closer to home when the family started to grow and wanted to get married at the same church my wife and I did. He was offered a job with our local Cardiology group and she got her old job back as a post-op nurse. To give them something to remember from their wedding ceremony, I made them this ring box out of oak and walnut. The liner was made from craft cloth and foam to hild both rings in place. I pinned the top so it would only fit in one direction and we all crossed our fingers as my oldest son’s first born carried it up the aisle to them during the ceremnoy. We all pictured him tossing it to them as the church laughed their heads off. Thank God it didn’t happen.
