I have always had a problem re sawing with my panel saw. So I thought a Kerfing plane might help. It’s made out of a hunk of wood I got out of the fire wood pile. not really sure what kind of wood it is. the arms are from a poplar dowel. I cut up an old rusty saw for the blade and filed it to about 6 ppi, and set it for a wide kerf. I used a cheap 3/4 inch threading kit to connect the arms and to tighten the fence.
I’m glad I made it, it works really well, and no problems with the saw wondering in a thick cut! and I spend lest than half the time planning my re sawed boards square.

Now THAT’s a beautiful work of art. You actually gonna use that thing?

Beautiful work and great shaping. That fence design is very clever.

Really nice tool. I got a blade to make one, along with a frame saw blade. Looking forward to building and using them.
