Another left-over slab of wood with a live edge. After completing the shape, I felt that the boot needed more ‘oomph’
so to speak. So I textured the toe cap and found that this type of texturing would overwhelm the boot. Out came my pyrography tool and pencil crayons. I free-handed some buttercups, I think so, and the boot evolved into the creation shown.
Since two posts ago my mushrooms continued to grow and expand and with our recent rain, my hop plants created a jungle for the boot poses.
