This was a pretty simple personal project I recently completed for my home from maple, plywood and southern yellow pine.

I knew the casework would be painted so I wanted to highlight the maple as much as possible. I selected a board with some figure in it and allowed the grain to run across the drawer fronts. I also book matched the top.

I used poplar for the drawer sides and used half blind dovetails and through dovetails for the drawer construction.

You can see the build on my YouTube channel here.

Thanks for looking!

Simple but very elegant design, with beautiful dovetails.
