I posted pictures of this dash when I built it quite a while back, but never got a chance to take pictures of it installed. A while later he came back and asked if I could replace the inserts in the door panels as well, which I did with some figured walnut.

A few days back I was walking into the building at work and finally got to see it all put together. Fortunately, I can share pics due to the lack of a top!

Great way to extend woodworking into other areas. What did you use for the base wood on the dash?

Some fine work on the dash and those doors! Woodworking and cars make a great combination!

Dash looks great – so does the hot rod. What is the base model of the car?

Really cool. Love the colors and the contrast in the wood on the dash. Very well done.
