I built this to use for few handtools until I have time to build something more interesting.
It’s made of solid cherry and cherry plywood. there are no metal fastners except those for the hanging cleats. Used miller dowels throughout and other joints.
This is somewhat inspired by Norm’s tool cabinet and the others LJ’s have posted.
outside still needs some finish, but basially there. You can also see some other shop tool carts that are works in progress in the pictures.

Nice cabinet…...always good to have a place where tools are ‘supposed’ to be stored….makes ‘em easier to find.
BTW…..what’s an “interim” tool….and where do you buy them????
