Turning Tool Handle

This is the first Steam Punk themed tool handle I’ve seen… made of Bolivian Rosewood with a eucalyptus cap on the end. It has three LED lights and the battery & power supply are in the butt end. The end fitting is made for a 3/8 tool. I made this for the tool handle competition the turning club is having. Not very practical….although the lights may work well for deep hollowing….but it’s a nice conversation piece.

Interesting and cool design .
Should do well in the competition and I would suggest to further develop the design ,I think you are on to something .

Great idea. This should be a standard for deep hollowing. Well made too.

Great looking design, I reckon the competition is yours for the taking. Agree with all the above, reckon you could develop this.

That’s insane, Bret. Now, if you don’t mind, figure out a way to get a little Bluetooth camera into a turning tool, for those of us whose backs can put up with only so much bending and twisting, while hollowing.
