I made this some time ago and thought I would post it now before it is given away as a gift.
It is a deodar cedar cone, hand painted with an acrylic water drop and puddle on a custom oak base.
The glass dome was purchased.

That is a impressive piece of nature you enhanced and will a beautiful gift .
Nice base that does not take away from the rose and the glass dome is a great Idea .

We are in the middle of a very nice summer here, although, come August, we will probably start to get a lot of rain. Busy with gardens and the shop…..........

Beautiful gift. You almoust fulled me with water drop. I thought it was that kind of rose which make drops.
