The trophy shop I build plaques for closed for vacation over the holiday so I thought I would get a chance to get some more kitchen cabinets built. NOT! I made the error(?) of showing wife person some rocking Adirondack chairs here and she decided that we had to have them before anything else got built. Three guesses as to what I’ve been doing the past week and a half.

Had to do a bit of tweaking as these are made of poplar rather than the pine/cedar/redwood suggested by the designer. The heavier wood screwed up the balance but I think I got it pretty well corrected. They seem to rock nicely so I’m not going to complain too much.

Comments and critiques welcomed as always.

I presume product testing is also a priority!

Do not go to sleep there; she will spill a COLD beer in your lap.

Enjoy them.

Oh—YES they are nice too.

rjR – I would hope not. That would be alcohol abuse.

And yes. There has been a goodly quantity of functional testing with more scheduled.

Pretty nice looking geezer parking you’ve got there!

By the way, I never would have thought that poplar would be heavier than cedar and the like, and would throw the balance off. Maybe they should modify the plans to accommodate popular wood choices.
