I have finish the belt/grinder sander. I put the motor of an old machine, i made the adjustment track and painting with blue.

They are made of MDF waterproof.

Nice project!
Sure are some long runs of sandpaper that could be used in some way I would think.

Great work, I want to build one badly. I actually watched your first youtube video about this sander a few days ago. What did you make the wheels out of? Green MDF or plastic?

Nevermind, your previous post mentioned “waterproof MDF”. I’ve never heard of it, I’ll have to look it up.

No problems. I can calibrate with the 2 screws of the tension wheel

Your design process was straightforward and practical. A nice relief from today when it seems everything must be drawn in sketchup and cut out on cnc machine. How is the vibration? Is one sheet of plywood rigid enough?
