Hi,
I’ve been working on and off on this desk since last winter and finally finished it today. Combination of cherry and walnut seem to create a nice contrast especially once the cherry fully darkens.
Thanks for looking and all comments are welcomed.

Great spiral woodwork there with the legs/stretchers Mahdee. must have taken a lot of your time just to do the table top edges not to mention the legs.
You made Walnut and Cherry combination work for you although I never thought they would so well.
Good job Mhadee.

Beautiful. Wood combination is great, design is great, and the extra added details are stunning (the drawer pulls, the pencil/pen grooves, the computer ports. Definitely heirloom quality. Thanks for sharing.

Thank you very much for the kind words guys. Ken, the tabletop/drawer edges did take a long time to execute even though I used a router jig. Both the spiral and the edges needed a lot of “cleaning up”.
Leafherder, Thank you. I am very encouraged by your comment.

What a beautiful ornate piece. I can only imagine what it will look like when the cherry darkens.
