this my attempt at an open segment turning the woods are maple and walnut. height is about 7” and about 5” round finished with a couple coats of lacquer spray.

Those small holes are actually cutouts in the side of the vase? That’s incredible! Very nicely done!

That’s really a cool turning. I like the shape and the open segments give it an awesome look. Very nice turning.

Very cool, I’ve seen baskets done this way but never a vase.
