This was a fun build. I used Ash, Purplehart a little Walnut and a little ceder. The wheels were blackened with a permanent marker and a few coats of polyurethane. The rear wheels were made on a drill press, using a few hole saws, and a few Fornser bits. I am giving this to the president of the company I work for. The #50 was used for the number of years in business, logos were pealed from my business cards then polyed over them.

Looks good, in one picture it looks like you had some plans. Do you mind me asking where you got those at? I live close to the Sprint Car Capitol and know a few people that race them.

Good looking car. Looks just like the cars running at Berlin raceway!. I think they call them the outlaws up here.

Way cool racer.
Looks like it would be a really fun build.
If I was into watching cars go in circles this would be the races I’d be into.

Mas , Sprint Car Fans know that Knoxville is NOT IN TENN .
I have been to the Nationals twice but it was a lot of years ago , When Steve K. and Sammy S. were battling it out a lot.

SVFD Fireman Very Nice build on the car also.

This is a cool project. I worked for a company that made quick change rear ends and other race parts. The World of OutLaws guys were always coming through. Fun racing.

This is an absolutely correct comment!
Not only do the cars go in circles really fast they can also fly. I had to look this up on Youtube but I remember the night that Jerry Richert Jr. checked out the sponsor signs up close. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=h6-2kh6So68

Small projects like this one really make me wish I had somewhere to put a scroll saw, when I get around to it I know I can do it with my jig saw and coping saw though.
