Commission Wine Rack

Wood (from West Penn Hardwoods):
Figured Chechen Top
Canarywood Racks
Padauk Legs
Purpleheart Feet

Finish: Teak Oil

The 45-degree cuts for the waterfall joint were initially cut using a Festool tracksaw, then fine-tuned on the tablesaw using a sled.
Festool Dominos were used in the waterfall joint, the feet, and attaching the wine racks to the legs.
The stemware racks were cut on the tablesaw.
The top is secured to the legs with figure eight fasteners.

I think it would look better without the waterfall.

I really like that. Many colors/wood species there but it works w/o being busy. That Chechen is beautiful, much nicer than any I’ve been able to work with.

That’s a beautiful wine rack! I like the waterfall, and like the curve of the legs!

That is beautiful. Chechen can be a beautiful wood and you got an outstanding piece. It really works well in the waterfall. Good job.

Very nicely done. I like the way the top folds over the side
