Birthday girl wants to get organized, I was asked for a dry erase/corkboard. I had these old cases that I couldn’t sell at the last 2 yard sales. My wife had the idea to use these. I bought a framed dry board and cut off the frame. It’s the magnetic stuff, big box store have what is basically white pegboard without the holes. Also a sheet of corkboard. I put blue tape where I made the cuts. It really wasn’t necessary, the cut ends are covered with a molding. I added a holder for the markers, and inset a magnet into it for the eraser.

She also got her first phone. The first 2 pics are the first she took and sent.

Hairy, that is a very interesting project. Turned out very well. Those type cases. Are they the ones that were used by the printing Industry in the days of the Hot Metal Press?
