My daughter has a very small apartment in Manhattan and has been asking me to make her a cutting board. Normally I would do a traditional “stay on the counter” board but since space is limited I decided on this style that can be hung and put away. The circle board is 3/4” by 16” and the bread cheese board is 15’ by 5” also 3/4 thick.
Made from Walnut, Maple, Zebrawood and Bubinga. Sanded to 320 and finished with several coats of mineral oil and bee’s wax.

I must admit it’s one of the best wood combinations on cutting boards. I like the angled cut on cheese board. Realy beautiful gift.

Looks like you did a bang up job. I’m with Ivan on the angle cut on the cheese board – I like the look.
