This was made for a client that wanted the same thing except the color was wrong. With different types of wood I explained to her would come different colors, even if I used the same stain. She said to go ahaed and build it and when done was not satified with the color only. I have come to use this in my own home and find it very useful.

Nice work, it looks very handy. The “dual-purpose” design goes well together. How thick is the cork? I assume it would have to be 1/4’ or more so your push-pins don’t bottom out.
-- All the test cuts in the world won't stop you from cutting the outside when you meant to cut the inside. doh!
