I was bored today so I made a shop knife from a scrap of mahogany and an old sawzall blade used the lathe for the handle and a copper fitting with an aluminium plate for the bolster I broke three practice handles before making the final one. I wasn’t to concerned with the final blade finish as it will be used as a glue bottle gunk remover and to whittle little wedges as new glue caps

Looks pretty good for a gunk remover.
