While working on a large project for a client I found a need for some 90 degree clamping jigs. Not finding any that worked with 2” spring clamps I decide on designing some and fire up the CNC. The end result worked extremely well and well worth the effort.

Nice. I’ve built quite a bunch of those myself. You may want to consider cutting the 90 corner off. If you have any glue squeeze out, you may find you corner jig glued to your piece.

Are you sure you weren’t trying to build a model of one of these?

It looks very similar to the B2 stealth bomber.

Thanks for the great comments.

Derek, I can see the need for you suggestion. This project wasn’t an issue, I do think I’ll clip the corner off of some of the clamps though.

Scott, I really wasn’t trying to make a B2 bomber model but now that you mentioned it, sure I’ll go with that. Sometimes the need turns into something completely different.

LoL. Scott beat me to it. That was the first thing I saw when I looked at them as well. :)

I’m out cutting rough lumber for my next project and can’t stop laughing about the B2 bomber. Thought I would send a picture of the original set of jigs I made. Plywood covered with black melamine. I believe these are a more appropriate representation of B2 bombers. Thanks for the laughs.

Wow! Those really do look like a fleet of B-2s! Nice work!
