My first crack at making a humidor, or a nice box for that matter! I learned a lot along the way, made a few mistakes but overall I’m happy with how it turned out.

I really like the way the book matched walnut crotch subtly looks like a tobacco leaf, I love it when a plan works out!

I blogged the process so if you’s like to read more have a breeze through it: http://lumberjocks.com/DrewGregory/blog/88498

Thanks for looking, questions, comments and advice always appreciated!

Was fun following your progress in the blog!

Looks like she turned out beautifully. And it never hurts to quote John “Hannibal” Smith, who used to say, “I love it when a plan comes together!”

Question though: Are you using any humidification device to keep the cigars humidified?

Very nice! You did a great job arranging/matching the grain.

Thanks! I’ve very happy with it for a first try!
I am using a XIKAR Crystal 100 count humidifier.
