Oak walnut and cherry box

This is really an experiment in another way to attach a top the the box. The joints are critical so it will stay in place and align but won’t get stuck in place. Finished with Malik oil poly blend.

That’s a cool looking box. I like the way you fitted the lid on. Never seen this one before. Great change up.

great idea – thinking outside the box for sure.

I like it but should I copy I might make the walnut corners thinner. as is they seem to over power the box but none the less great concept and execution

btw – I probably will copy your idea

thats a neat way to align a lift-off lid. Not sure if its the angle of the picture or not, but at the walnut pieces different sizes? Either way… I like the experiment!

Seems like there might be a lot of wasted space in the lid section or is it used for something?

This is a perfect-I was actually.looking for without hinges as I could not find small brass hinges in local market. Hope you dont Ind if I copy your design with small changes of course

different design ...... is the 1 corner bigger then the other ones ? ..or an optical delusional …...GRATZ ON TOP 3
