Thendara re-do

Well, this is a re-do of the original Thendara.

This was a gift for a family member for Christmas. While touching up the face (see it here), I messed it up – badly.

It wasn’t what I wanted anyhow; I didn’t like the cheap look of the decal and shiny copper. I wanted a more sophisticated, tooled look, hence what I have here.

The wife hates it, and likes the other one. However, the new owner, when asked which one she’d prefer, chose this one – as did 90% of you guys in this thread.

Sometimes, she is wrong! LOL!

Awesome clock – When you hammered the copper did you raise the numbers from the back side ?

Thank you for sharing

You raise the numbers from the backside first; when it’s all done, then you dimple the face with a blunt tool, like a really dull large nail.

Pashley, I was just skimming forums and found yours. I looked at your site and saw this clock. It was quite beautiful, would be my favorite on the site.

Hope you have been able to get some of these items into a customers hands and sold. Fantastic work.

Thanks, Chris. Actually, I was kinda surprised how many people like that piece. On eBay, it’s my most “watched” piece.
