Two quarter sawn white oak arts and crafts tile trivets I made for Christmas gifts. I got this design idea from Woodworking Magazine.

The tiles are from the Carreaux du Nord studio in Wisconsin.

Turned out great. I made some for Christmas gifts last year (http://lumberjocks.com/projects/13387 ). I’ve got a few more tiles since then, so I plan to make a few more.

Great looking trivets…I was thinking about doing the same with some granite we picked up on vacation a couple years ago.

Hey Jon, where did you get the great tile? When I do stuff with tiles I always have such a hard time finding decent looking tile. These look great.
