I made this for my wedding a few years back the blade is from reclamed tool steel the main handle is mule deer antler my grandfather hunted and the guard and but cap are zebra wood.I did the works by hand and had the brass to grind the blade in my bedroom at my parents house ” a bench grinder makes plenty of mess in a carpeted space”
but it looked good in my wool socks

uh oh re: carpet/socks.

Great job—and the history included (grandfather) makes it even more special.
Nicely done
