My father is a musician, trumpet-player, band-director. So this is a little “music” box to hold his hearing aids. Mahogany, modified band saw box – I used a scroll saw to cut the inside out – saved on sanding time, and nothing to glue back together. The design is a trumpet (lower left side) blowing beautiful sound. Third box I’ve ever made – feeling a little better about the hinges though I am nowhere NEAR Jerry’s level… sometimes one can only aspire…

Well I think it’s absolutely brilliant. The scrollsaw work is really fine. I don’t know that I could pull that off!

This turned out beautifully.
