This is a knife I made for my Brother-in-law. He was in the Army and served in Korea in the 1960’s. About ten years later I did a tour in the Air Force about 10 miles from where he was stationed. A few years ago, his grandson did a tour with the Air Force at a base that was a sort distance from where the two of us had been. I guess it’s a small world.

This is only the second knife I’ve done. The handle is marble wood. The Army emblems are lapel pins. We I first had the idea of using them, I thought it would be easy to. Put them into the handle. Turned out I to be trickier than I thought.

Looks good. Love the emblem.
