I talk to Gary just about every day of the week. He’s been waiting quite a while for me to finally make a celtic knot pen. The tablesaw sled I made the other day was done so to help in the alignment for making this style pen. I would have done the double knot that Gary had posted the other day, but I have to admit that my excitement to see how this was going to come out won the battle and so I’ve got a Sapelle Cigar pen with a single Black Walnut Celtic Knot.

Ya done good. ;-)
That’d look really cool in a double-knot using sapelle with maple rings.

Thanks Dan and Tom.
I followed Gary’s instructions that he posted with his double-knot pen. It’s a nice process to follow. I’m looking forward to making more.

we had loaned our camera to my brother in law last weekend. I got it back today and took some new pictures of the celtic knot cigar and the newer celtic knot slimline that I made for my wife.
