Here is a simple jewelry box I made from some curly maple and book matched walnut. This box has a friction fit top and assembly is super easy. If you are looking to make a box but just haven’t taken the leap, check out this post. This is only my 2nd one if it gives you any idea how easy it is :)

Full details of the build are on my site at: http://fixthisbuildthat.com/make-a-simple-diy-jewelry-box-plans/

Very nice looking jewelry box—I like the combo of the curly maple and walnut!

The top book match is beautiful. Nice box.

Thanks, guys! I love the silvery sapwood of the walnut and the slight curl to it. Turned out way nicer than I thought it would :)
