This is my first foray into wood that I take pride in. The half wall of our stair case was covered in a texture “mud” that kept getting knocked off the corners from my kids and myself running stuff into it. I made a cap for the wall and found out two things. 1 – our walls are NOT square, even one this small. 2 – measure several points on a project, don’t assume anything is square, level, or flat or you’ll end up re-cutting your projects.
