Curly Narra Vase

This vase was a Christmas present for one of my in-laws; It is approx. 14” tall. I found the Narra to be particularly tough when hollowing. It is a dense wood and did not slice so much as remove small chips and felt more like I was trying to cut concrete. I finished this vase with spray lacquer; a first for me.

Beautiful vase. I love the curly narra, I have made some pens from that and it is has great figure. I am sure your in-laws will love it.

Great vase. Nice shape and size. The figure in that curly nara is outstanding.

Keep it up.

That is some beautiful wood. The vase design is great also. Nice job.
