Project Information

Our pets are very special to us so our German Shepherd "Azylynn" needed her own bed. Her kennel name is on the nem plate. The bed is made of cedar and finished with water based varathane.
Someone at a dog show commissioned one for his Great Dane, it was much larger but did fit (barely) in the back of a half ton.

My wife will flip when she sees this. She's crazy about German Shepherds.

I'd like to associate myself with the remarks of the other two ;-)

great work, I've had German Sheperds my entire life. My dog now is named Sheba and is just about past going (hip problems) I know what the right thing to do is but it sure doesn't make it any easier. Again great job.

Loved the dogbed. The things we do for our family members. I made one for our dog lat year and he hated it. Unfortunally we lost him to cancer last May. Still waiting for that special mutt.

Ditto to NBeener's comment.

Great bed, great looking dog. My girl is getting on to 11 years old, almost time for her to have her own bed (so she doesn't have to make the leap up to mine!

Thanks all - my wife saw the comments and is beaming, she has always been a shepherd person and converted this Lab Lover to a shepherd person too.
Azylynn is due to have pups in January, should be great pups like her, hopefully we sell them all, I don't want to have to make another 6 or 8 beds. There is no room in the house.

Great job on the bed. I too am a dog lover and I understand how special they can be. In my case, the dogs (we have 2) are papillions. Therefore, I would need to make beds that are about the size of a shoebox.

Great bed and great dog too! My icon shows our newest family member. Our old shepherd died last year at about 13 yrs old, so she's the latest shepherd. Have fun with all those puppies!

Great job on the dog bed. It's beautiful. I can't get my dogs to sleep on any of the beds that I've made. They all end up as gifts to other people's dogs…

Unlike Wallybob's dog, she looks like she loves it. She knows it's her's. Great looking bed.
