This started out as a serving tray. Didn’t like it so I cut the ends off and ended up with this. Book matched 5/8” thick and measures 12” X 10”. I guess it’s sorta big for a trivet but…...what the heck. Finished with Howard’s wax. Thanks for the looks and comments.

That’s a beautiful piece Jay. The eyes look so real. You really have the flame where it belongs. Well done.
