My second woodworking project, again for friends. This was for Christmas 2008 and my good friend approached me about building a couple step stools for her daughter and son. Seems like the cookie jar is no longer out of reach. She wanted something sturdy and with a dark Mahogany stain. Since they were for her children I wanted to add the storage compartment so they could put their toys/books/crayons, etc in them.

Those are great steps/boxes. I’m thinking I’ve got to put something like that together. Thanks for the inspiration!
