My daughter bought a house with a pool earlier this year and was ready to start using it. Previous owner left a step of cast resin steps for inside of pool that had one upper handle broken off, She needed some outside steps. Here is my solution.

Those should work well. But hope the kids don’t slip on the steps when they are wet

Nicely done! I bet those steps will get plenty of use! All you need now is a gate to secure the pool after fun is over.

Thanks. The steps still have a texture when wet. I plan to add a lockable gate at top between the 2 4×4’s.

This was my first time cutting stringers. That added lots of layout time. Worked out in the end.
