Monitor Stand

I was tired of having my monitors at work propped up on reams of printer paper so I made this monitor stand out of quarter sawn Sapele and Hard Maple. The finish is from an article I had from a Fine Woodworking magazine which uses a light coat of bolied linseed oil followed by shellac. Very easy to apply and turned out nice.

Thanks for showing this. That is the same setup I have here at home. I’m using 3 volumes of an encyclopedia set under one monitor and an old cheap plastic stand under the other one. I may try this. I’ll add it to my favorites. Thanks again. Looks great.

I know this is a very old post but I found this doing a search for computer monitor stand. What a wonderful job. I love the contrasting colors and the through tenons on the legs. Very well done.
