This table was my first commission, and my brother helped me out with it. As you can see, the workspace was my kitchen! Here is a little slide show of the process:

naomi weiss,
Very nicely done! I really like the edge treatment on the top. Is it all mortise and tenon construction? Did you enlist your brothers aid before or after the arm brace?-LOL I know hand chopping those mortises is no real fun, if there are a lot of ‘em to do! Congratulations again on a very nicely done table. Have a most joyous New Year.

Sincerely,
Ken McGinnis

nice clean honest form. interesting, a piece like that I would have expected out of oak, but in what looks like some sort of softwood, it looks much warmer.

Congrats on getting your first commission. The table looks great.

I sold my first project only a couple months ago and am working on a restoration currently.
I hope you sell many more pieces in the future. I hope to get more new construction spoken for
in my area also.

All the best and keep doing that great work.
