My second bandsaw box. Made from 4/4 walnut with a shellac finish and hand blown flocking. That cheap little cardboard flocking tube worked pretty well for me; this was my first time ever trying. the back of the drawers have little clear rubber bumpers so the drawers don’t slam shut loudly. The scrap wood from inside the drawers was later turned into letter openers.

Nice project. Looks like very smooth work. Very nice finish. Hope to do these one day. Welcome to Jocks.

Pretty darn nice box.

For applying flocking, try a ketchup/mustard squeeze bottle. Fill it about half full and it will let you ‘squirt’ the flocking easily and will cover the drawers quickly. You should be able to find new ones at just about any decent grocery store.
