Same kit as before but this time I used some tiger maple with walnut accents. A little bit of light walnut danish oil to help bring out the stripes and poly finish. Pic #3 is why you should wrap more than just one layer of tape around the blade. SWMBO has asked me to make her a small fixed blade knife with a sheath. She’s a keeper.

Beautiful work! You might consider Gorilla brand duct tape for covering the sharp edge—I used on a Japanese bamboo froe with great success.
