Here is my newest table. It is about 75” long by about 40” wide. Made out of solid mesquite. The top is a solid 2 inches thick. I am finishing the chairs and will post those pics soon. The finish is a Target Coatings Water Based Conversion Varnish. This was going into my dining room but I had to replace the engine in my car so this table is for sale and at a great price. I am setting the price at $1300 which for a mesquite table is just plain ridiculous. I will sell the chairs for $175 a piece. Let me know if you are interested.

I bet it is already sold at $1300 by the time you read this post. Rock bottom price. That’s a beautiful table and a heartbreaking story. Just replaced the rear end and transfer case on my trip for the holidays, so I feel your pain. Cheer up! Your next table will be even better. Hopefully I can sell you the wood!

No its still not sold. I have mesquite sticking out of my ears but if I decide to work with any other woods I’ll let you know. Buying a new engine is alot better than buying a new car so I cant complain too much. Thanks for all of the compliments on the table.

Hi Eric, I’m interested in your table. Can you give me an idea of what the chairs look like and how many chairs come with the table? I’d like to talk with you. Jsgeg

Eric, I tried to contact you about the table but there was no response. Is it available?

Eric, you are right that is a great price for that table and the chairs would have to be awful not to be worth $175 a piece. I can see that you have some inquiries so hopefully you’ll sell it here. But these are a bunch of woodworkers. We make stuff too. If you cannot sell it here, put it on craigslist.

It’s not much good for selling old power tools but I have sold some high dollar stuff on CL. I sold a two stage reactor on CL for 12,500 that I paid $14,000 for 2 years previous, and numerous gooseneck trailers for $3500 – $8,500 that were used and some I paid less for. My point is do not look at CL as a cheap feebay. It is much better and NO FEES.

Good luck. Beautiful work.
