Box for Rockler Interlocking 2-1/4” Sign Maker’s Templates (2 sets) – I got tired of shuffling through the template box so I put a label on top of the template that did not have a label (Why Rockler did not spent 5 cents more and do this is beyond me) and made a box that I could flip through from the top to fine each templet needed. Now I must train myself, my son and grandson’s to put them back in order. Also, directions for the use of the templates are included for my Son & Grandson use. Box is made from a spare wood fence panel planned down to approx. 1/2” thick. Bottom is a scrap piece of 1/4” Oak plywood. Sketch of demensions are shown which holds 2 sets of templates.

I love it. I got the Large State Park Template set for Christmas, I want to get the small one, and I HATE the box they come in. I might just use your idea here! Thanks!

Thanks for the shortcut. You’re absolutely correct. Some kind of organization is vitally necessary and I ordered a second set also, to make sure I’d have them for a long time.

This is a great idea. I too have the larger set and it seems I am forever looking for the character I want in the box. This would help get the job done much quicker.

I’ve been meaning to build something like this myself. I don’t use the templates very often but it is annoying that you cant put them back in the box in order. When I do want to use them I have to pull them all out to get the pieces I need.
