Well, we ended up making 19 of of these cheese cutting boads for family and friends. Everyone seems to love them. These are made of cherry and maple. Diameters are about 11” to 12” My wife burned in the designs of olive, oak leaves and acorns and olive branches. Finished with mineral oil which does not turn rancid.

These are really pretty, Bob. Are the designs burned on?

Nice work. I like the “raised” platform design; sort of a platter in reverse.

You certainly have that down pat… really nice and all the designs are slightly different.

Hey Bob;
What a clever idea. I like the burning, your wife did on them.
If you start now, you’ll have a lot of them ready for next year!
Very nice.
