During a performance we broke this Wheel. The diameter if the Wheel is only 75 cm but it broke 25 cm to one side.
And as usual i only had a few hours to repair it before the following performance.

There is no iron in the Wheel but the middle is in plastic (if i had made the Wheel i would never use plastic…)

I were lucky that i with glue and dowels could save the full ring but in 4 pieces.
So i only needed to make 4 new rods and some notch (if that is the right Word)

I found out it is a pain in the ass to put all the pieces together. I made it during a night but with 3 long clamps and a hammer it worked out wery well before the glue were dry.

And then Again i were lucky with a outer ring in plastic…

As the result i found out the Wheel came put more stright and mutch stronger than the other 5 Wheels we used during the performance.

So now it came a bit closer to build a woden wheelchair for myself – if i can find the time…
