A last minute finishing job on a simple gift for my daughter. I actually have several of these sitting that still need some finishing touches, but I wanted to make sure my daughter got her’s tomorrow morning so I decided on a simple black stain for the interior as flocking just would not be ready in time. The outside is a coat of poly.

Used the bandsaw to cut off the top, table saw for grid and a drill press with Fostner for the inside. Lid swivels open on a dowel peg. The stones came from the floral department, great deal on a large assorted bag.

Looking forward to finishing and giving a few more of these to friends I’ll see later on in the holidays. Thanks for looking. I also have a few other logic puzzle and such that I am giving that I will post later once they are unwrapped. :)

Merry Christmas!

Looks very nice but what is this game and how is it played ? It is suitable for children of what age?

It looks like tic-tac-toe

You play it by trying to create a straight line from one point of the grid to the other without being blocked by the opposing player, alternating turns.

Thanks All.
Sharad, interpim is correct It is Tic-Tac-Toe. He explained the game pretty well. As to ages my daughter is 3 and loves to play it. I taught her to play it sometime around 2 1/2. It is a very simple game.
