I was going to PM you to say thanks for the idea. It works wonderfully and I LOVE not having shims and wedges laying on the corner of the workbench that I have to juggle to hold the spacers and the workpiece in place at the same time!

Hmmmm, am I the only one who had to do a search to figure out what the heck Ken had made?

From that first picture, I was envisioning all kinds of things it might have been. Least of which was a paddle for an ice cream churn ! :-)

You’ve got it Jim. It’s basically an adjustable spacer to prevent racking in my end vise. Thanks for looking!
