Trivets as Christmas Gift

I made quite a few of these trivets and gave them away as Christmas gift to our relatives and friends. They are easy to make and I used ceramic tiles of different sizes and designs. The design that I like best was Japanese Koi but I gave them all away without taking any picture. The ceramic tile is slightly proud of wooden frame to keep the hot item away so it won’t burn the wood.

Merry Christmas and Happy New Year to you all!

Thanks for looking.

Nice job on those trivets Simon. What a great idea to keep the ceramic higher so the wood doesn’t burn.

Great trivets. Got one of those wrapped and ready to deliver. I like the choices you get when useing ceramic tiles. Nice detail on the routered edge. I should have added that to mine. Mabey next time.

Keep it up.
