Pool Cue Holder

My son wants a pool cue holder for Christmas and after looking around online to see how much they would cost, I decided to make him one.

About 95% of it was finished before my thumb kissed the tablesaw blade so I was a bit fortunate to get it completed in time for Christmas. Fortunate in more than one way….

It’s made from Cherry, Cherry plywood and the backer for the green felt is 1/2” MDF.

Two coats of Tung Oil (not happy with the way the second coat went on) and three coats of wipe on Poly.

Four racks for the balls, room for six cues and a place to hang the ball rack.

In case you’re wondering, the sign with the ‘O’ in it is the original Ottawa Senator hockey team logo.

Hope you like!

(new pics of it hanging in his basement instead of sitting on our floor – much better)

Nice work and I hope your thumb gets back to 100% soon if it isn’t already. I just use paper towelling with masking tape as shop-made bandaids. This prevents me from getting blood on almost every project I do LOL.
